Jump Rope Recording Sheets
The content on this page can be used by teachers or students to monitor their jump rope progress.
Jump’n Round VA
This is an activity to help students track their progress with a variety of jump rope moves/tricks. Once a student completes five repetitions of a jump rope move, they circle the number associated with that move and then select the next move to begin practicing.

JR Recording Sheets
These are forms that students can use to record different jump rope moves. Students choose if they want to complete a move by the number of repetitions or time. The students write the date in the space when the move has been completed. For example a student is working on a 2 foot hop for 4r. When the student has completed a 2 foot hop four times in a row then they would write the date in the space provided.

Every Jump Counts Challenge
Students use this challenge sheet to individually evaluate whether they are ‘just beginning’, ‘almost there’, or ‘got it’. The students make a determination for each trick and the level and then write the date in the space provided.
Jumping Through the Virginia Regions
This is an activity in which a teacher can use to engage different classes (i.e. 1st grade, 2nd grade, administrators, etc.). A teacher can also create small teams within a class (i.e. groups of 4-6 students within a class). A teacher would need to determine how many jumps it would take to complete a mile.
