Jump Rope Horse

To play this activity, students need to be paired and have a jump rope. (This activity is from the basketball game Horse.) The activity concludes when one partner spells HORSE.

  1. One student begins by creating a combination of 2-4 jump rope moves or tricks. The student determines which jump rope move and for how many repetitions. For example, a student may choose to jump 2 bells, 1 side straddle, and 3 skiers.
  2. The partner then tries to mimic the movement. If they are not successful they receive an H.
  3. The partners then switch roles and the other partner creates the combination.
