Build a Jump

To complete this activity, students select three jump rope moves. The moves can be jumped in any order. The six cards can be printed, cut apart, and stapled in the upper right hand corner.

  1. The students want to select three moves and begin to practice the moves individually.
  2. After a student can perform the moves individually then they combine the moves to jump one after another. Once a student can perform all three moves for five repetitions each then they learn three new moves.
  3. After the new moves have been learned individually then the students combine all six moves in a row. They continue this pattern until they reach eighteen moves in a row.
