Coast Pilot 3 ch 2 and 9 and Coast Pilot 4 ch 2 (pdfs).  Ch 2 (both) part 334 has danger zones and restricted areas, ch9 part 167 section 167.200 had vessel traffic etc. Includes shipping lanes, Wallops, VA Capes etc.  VA Capes areas (Chapter 4; 334.320, 380, 390, 400).

Bathymetry - Virginia Beach, VA 1/3 arc-second Tsunami Inundation DEM

The combined bathymetric-topographic digital elevation model (DEM) covers the coastal community of Virginia Beach, Virginia and the surrounding Chesapeake Bay region. It has a cell size of 1/3 arc-second (~10 meter), with coordinate boundaries of 75.4°W to 76.6°W and 36.45°N to 37.5°N.

Visual Impact

A location on the coast was selected and a point was created using the lat/lon.  A 20km buffer was created around that point.

VA/NC Border – 15nm arc

A location on the coast right on the border between VA and NC was selected and a point was created using the lat/lon.   A 15nm buffer was created around that point.

Substations

The locations of the Pendleton and Fenstress substations were obtained using Google Earth.
