Senior Thesis Projects
The senior thesis is the capstone experience of the ISAT curriculum. Students focus all their experience and knowledge on producing innovative, valuable solutions to challenging problems. Each student team works with an ISAT faculty member who coaches the team throughout the project and guides the students as they write a thesis presenting project results, methodology and additional scholarly research. This yearlong activity culminates in April with the Senior Symposium when all students present their projects. Student participation is involved in all of the research and development efforts encompassed by the Alternative Fuels Program. Many of our students are enrolled in the ISAT curriculum and use this experience for their senior thesis project. Due to the nature of our projects, most of our students join our team as sophomores or juniors and work on their respective projects for two or more years. Contributions to the senior thesis projects will be used to support these efforts. The contribution for each senior project is $1,000
