You Can Make a Difference...

On Aug. 29, Hurricane Katrina hit three Gulf Coast states of the United States with sustained winds of 145 miles per hour. We are still learning how much damage it has caused, how many people have died, how many buildings and homes have been destroyed, and how many families and children have been displaced. Hurricane Katrina will likely be known as one of the greatest natural disasters ever to hit the United States in modern history.

We are asking you to help create the greatest caring response for the children who have been displaced by completing this special assignment - assignmentbackpack.

WE ARE ACCEPTING BACKPACKS THROUGH DECEMBER 10, 2005.

Assignmentbackpack is a project of CHARTT (Creating Hope and Resolve in Troubled Times)
